The Oxford Town Clerk issues certified copies of Vital Records, and processes Dog Licenses.

If you are not certain whether a record is filed with the Oxford Town Clerk, call the office for confirmation @ 1-508-987-6032 before ordering.

The Clerk’s office is open: 

            Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9:00AM to 5:00PM
Wednesday 9:00AM to 7:00PM
Friday 9:00AM to 12:30PM

Dog Licenses: In order to process Dog Licenses, the rabies vaccination must be current.
Birth Certificates: Birth records for people born while their parents were residents of Oxford, Massachusetts.
Marriage Certificates: Marriage Licenses for couples who filed their Marriage Intentions in the Oxford Town Clerk's Office.
Death Certificates: Death Certificates for anyone who was a resident of Oxford at the time of death; died in Oxford; or any Veteran who is buried in Oxford.

Please be advised that at the Special Town Meeting held on October 5, 2022,the majority of Oxford Voters present voted to increase the licensing fees for dogs in the Town.
The new fees are as follows:

Male/Female not altered- $15.00 per animal
Neutered/Spayed- $10.00 per animal

Electronic Check: 
You will need one of your checks with you when you pay your bill online in order to get your account number and the bank’s routing number from it. You will be shown where this information is on your check. Please note: there will be a $0.50 cart processing fee assessed for all electronic check payments.

Credit Card: 
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express for credit card payments. There will be a convenience/service fee for each online payment. The credit card service provider charges the fee to your credit card. When paying by credit card, the fee amount will appear in a separate box. (Fee Schedule)
