A new campaign is underway to raise funds for needed repairs to our town’s PARTRIDGE ISLAND BOARDWALK. Sparked by news of a recent successful volunteer-led repair effort, residents have come forward wishing to donate to help with boardwalk maintenance.

Originally installed in 1976 to mark the country’s bicentennial, nature is taking its toll on the wooden substructure. While the existing boardwalk is still in use, periodic maintenance will be necessary.

The Town has established a dedicated account for the Partridge Island Boardwalk to which anyone can contribute. Donated funds will be used to maintain the existing boardwalk and to supplement grant applications for the design and replacement costs for a new boardwalk.
