A marriage record is registered in the Town where you filled out your "Marriage Intention" paperwork. Some marriage records are not public documents and a picture ID is required in order to obtain the record (if the parents of either party were unmarried.)
Therefore, this type of transaction cannot be processed electronically. To confirm that a record is on file in Franklin and to verify that you are eligible to obtain the record, please call the Town Clerk's Office at 508-520-4900.
