The Security Deposit ensures the property will be left in the same condition it was found. The Security Deposit fee is deposited into the Town of Medway’s General Fund. After the event, if all is satisfactory, the Security Deposit will be refunded to the renter by town of Medway check. If any damage was sustained, the repair fee will be deducted from the Security Deposit. In the event the damage is more than the Security Deposit amount, the town will bill the renter for the additional repair expense.

REMINDER

In order for your Security payment to be processed; your signed contract must be submitted to the Town Administrator’s Office in order for payments to be applied to your Thayer Homestead account invoice.
