Girls in grades 1-8 (26-27 school year) will learn the fundamental skills, techniques, and strategies of Field Hockey while practicing and playing in this fun program. Girls will be broken into four different divisions based on grade:
New Player "Try It" day will be held on Thursday, June 18 at the AHS Stadium from 6:00 to 7:00PM.
This is a great opportunity to try the sport and meet the coaches before registering.

Registration begins in person and online Wednesday, June 10 through July 12.
Effective Monday, July 13 all registrations must be done in person and fees will increase by $25. No new player registrations will be accepted after July 20.
New players or players purchasing a new uniform will need to visit the Parks & Recreation office to be sized. To ensure we have enough time to order uniforms all players will need to be sized by Monday, July 20.
To access online payments and registrations log onto agawam.ma.us, then go to the Parks and Recreation Department page, then click on the "Online Payments & Registration" button, then click on agree. This will send you to the UniPay Gold site where you can select specific program registrations under transactions.
Coaches will contact players at the beginning of August. Girls will meet from mid August through October. Practices will be held in the early evenings and games will be played against neighboring communities.
Players need to supply their own stick, goggles, shin guards and mouth piece.
