Craft Your Sourdough: A Bread Making Workshop

In this hands-on workshop, Sorrel Hatch of Upinngil Farm will guide participants through the entire sourdough bread making process, from nurturing your starter to baking the perfect loaf. Learn the secrets of mixing, kneading, shaping the dough, and achieving that signature tangy flavor and perfect crust. Whether you're a novice or experienced baker, this workshop will expand your bread-making skills. Join us for an informative and enjoyable evening, and then take home a delicious loaf of freshly-baked sourdough bread, your own Banneton bread proofing basket, and a jar of your own starter. Let your sourdough journey begin!

Registration for adult education programming at Franklin County Technical School is open to anyone 18 years of age and older. enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. No payment plans or financial aid are available at this time. Course registration will not be reserved without full payment. the adult education program reserves the right to cancel classes with insufficient enrollment and to make instructor changes OR to change the class schedule due to unforeseen circumstances. Due to liability and insurance concerns, unregistered guests are not permitted to participate in a class. Children under the age of 18 are NOT allowed to accompany parents or caretakers for any reason.
